The country's president, Hashim Thaci, has recalled the 21st anniversary of the killing of the Hyzri Talla fighters, Africa Maliqi and Ilir Patience.
Through Facebook Thaci has given that these three activists were murdered treacherously.
“21 years ago three activists were dealt treacherously, three freedom fighters -- Hyzri Talla, Africa Maliqi and Ilir Durmishi. Hyzri Talla was a member of the Kosovo Liberation Army, which, along with the other two activists, journalist Africa Maliqi and Ilir Durmishi, fell to the helm of the mission to free Kosovo. Glory to their life and work” wrote Thaci on Facebook.
Twenty-one years ago in Pristina, martyrs of the Hyzri Talla nation, Africa Maliqi and Ilir Durmish have fallen heroicly.
