The Korca Court places security measures “in prison for 18-year-old Davis Hoti, who allegedly authored the murder of Flamur Duci in the village of Mborje.
Although the young man in court has claimed to be innocent, two are the strongest evidence the prosecution holds in its hands for serious crime; the stains of blood in the suspected author's clothing and a hair of hair found in the victim's hand.
On the other hand, the prosecution has conflicting evidence of two parents of the 18-year-old and his uncle as there is an environmental discussion where the young man dictates to his uncle what to say about the investigation group. But the prosecution has not presented the basic motive that may have prompted the young man to commit this murder. He has a few scratches on his body and face, which means he may have had a fight with the victim.
It is learned that 45-year-old man has been stabbed eight times.
While the defence attorney requested a easier move for the 18-year-old by seeking the court's arrest at home or 30 days in prison until the results of the tests were answered, the court did not consider this request.
While in court, Davis Hoti has expressed himself innocent, denying once again the authorship of this murder.
