I was just in my ninth month of pregnancy. Out of concern and stress, I had an early birth at Pec Hospital. When I realized that the time had come for me to be born I was a little stressed with the suspicion that maybe I would not be offered help because I was a citizen of Albania and not of Kosovo. I've been surprised by the hospitality the medical staff made me”, he said. RTV Dukagjin, Romina Radoshiqi.
Doctor Mazum Smajli says that the baby born prematurely but and the mother are in good health.
The “was born a little bit prematurely, and this was certainly due to the tragic event that it has experienced in Durres. The child has a small weight, but even the baby and the mother are at present in good health and are under the medical staff”, said Dr. Mazum Smajli.
And at Pec Hospital, it's also a Kasadra Yaqa, which is in the 7th month of pregnancy, says that her condition began to deteriorate because of some trauma.
I'm fine now, because when the earthquake in Durres struck, I suffered a trauma that caused pain in my pregnancy. After I came here, doctors at the hospital helped me a lot and they are conveying my state of health”, Cassandra Yace said.
Many families from Albania took refuge in Kosovo after the 6.4-magnitude earthquake, which claimed the lives of over 50 people
