Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, at the 6th extraordinary meeting for the aftermath of the earthquake, has said that in 2020, no money will go for cars and cabinets, but mayors can move on horses.
“We will pass as the first phase from the 2020 budget, 0.4% of GDP by making sure that the primary positive deficit remains positive, no changes of parameters that could threaten the stability of the entire macroeconomic system. What funds can be transferred is also being studied. There's a voice that's related to all expenses, in the next year no cars will be bought, no office equipment, no routine equipment, and car purchases, cabinets, cottuces, TVs in all of the country's municipalities will be blocked. Who would be bad for the car to find a horse and no problem, mayor with horses would be an ecological innovation. Especially would the heads of administrative units be welcome in the community”, he said.
