Kosovo Special Prosecutor Silas Hoxha has requested home arrest for all three suspects who have been found in the indictment in case “Ivanovic”, Dragisa Markovic, Silvana Arsovic and Zarko Jovanovic, who are protected from freedom.

Kosovo's Special Prosecutor for Special Prosecutor has proposed that, against the three indictees for “involvement in the murder of Serbian politician Oliver Ivanoviq”, Dragisa Markovic, Silvana Arsovic and Zarko Jovanovic, take over house arrest measures. According to attorney Dejan Vasic, for prosecutor Hoxha's proposal the court will decide in the December 30th session.

The three people for whom house arrest is required are at large, but we think the domestic prison proposal is not necessary, because the three with no work have indicated that they are aimed at obstructing the judicial process or leaving. The definition of their free movement would be completely unnecessary, and I think the court will not accept it, when even the special prosecutor's proposal will be rejected”, Vasiqi said, adding that if they wanted to leave and not be tried they would be able to do it so far, “Zri” writes today.

Kosovo Special Court has filed charges on 2 December against 6 people: Nedelko Spasojevicq, Marko Rossic, Dragisa Markovic, Zarko Jovanovovic, Rade Basara and Silvana Arsovic, who are charged for “involvement in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic”.

Spasojeviqi and Rossic are in custody from November last year, while Basara from October of this year, until the other three are protected from freedom.

The incident charges them for “taking on criminal acts or organisation of criminal groups”, “due to official task or authorization”, “Help perform the criminal work {hard murder, unauthorized possession and control of weapons”, “intelligence of the official secret<877>, “usage of the official task in co-ordination and manipulation of evidence at co-ordination<>

Mahmut Halimi, Roschih's lawyer, told “Kosev” that the first trial session, in which the indictment will be read, is scheduled for 30 December. According to him, the prosecution in the indictment has not provided new evidence for Roshic's involvement in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.

“Based on two allegations which can in no way connect with his eventual participation in carrying out this work that is being placed on the burden, the brother's statement now of the deceased, and a piece of paper that was supposedly found after a while in Ivanovic's wallet are just these two testimonies that charge my client, no further evidence that would increase doubts, has clarified Halimi.

Although Halimi says Rospi is only suspected of these two works, he has added that in the preamble of the indictment on the burden is the “Sulmet, serious bodily injuries and burning of the car”, but as Halim has said, “the device of the indictment has nothing but aided in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic”.

As he has explained, at the first trial hearing on December 30th the indictment will be read, and the court will decide on prosecutor Hoxha's proposal for house arrest of the three accused in the “case. Ivanovic” and that the court will give 30 days to object to the indictment, after which it can call the second session or which, under opposition, will decide whether the indictment will go into major screening or not.

On the other hand, Oliver Ivanovic's grandson, Aleksandar Ivanovic (in some media reportedly is Oliver Ivanovic's brother), has declared on Wednesday that there is no name for the perpetrators, nor for the organisers of Ivanovic's murder.

I've learned from the media about the indictment. Will we have the chance to see what evidence the Special Prosecutor of Kosovo possesses? Among these charges are not those who have participated in murder or who have organized murder. Oliver Ivanov's family still has no answer to the question of who killed Oliver, on whose orders and what the political backlog of this assassination is”, he has declared.

He has asked how it is possible that despite many security cameras, which control Serbs, no record has ever been presented, which would indicate the movements of Oliver Ivanovic, but also the people who have professionally prepared and carried out Ivanovic's murder.
