Kosovo's “Police call on drivers to respect road communications signs, adapt to weather conditions as well as use chains while moving in the roadblocks where snow and frost are present”, the Pec Police Community says.
Based on weather change circumstances, as well as the difficulties created in the flow of vehicles as a result of fog, rain, wind, snow, and freezings, the Regional Police Directorate in Pec has arranged for the reinforcement of Road Communications Police Services in all the roadblocks.
Police report that all road axes will be covered by Regional Communications Units, which will exercise continuous control over the equipment of vehicles with winter tires, chains, on access to access to roads and fog lights in case of reducing road visibility.
With commitments to police units and other responsible institutions, as well as with a care of communications participants, we believe that this winter season will be passed on to a smaller number of accidents”, the police appeal said.
