An ocean stain discovered greater than Texas

Another problem caused by climate change has hit the living world. As temperatures rise, there is also a major change in the oceans that threatens the survival of many species. Scientists have noticed a red spot near New Zealand, which is larger than Texas. Satellite images of [...]
Scientists have noticed a red spot near New Zealand, which is larger than Texas.
Satellite images of the South Pacific show that a vast area of the extremely warm ocean lies east of New Zealand, reports CNN.
Water temperatures are about five degrees higher than average for this time of year in the area, according to James Renwick, professor and dean of the Geography Faculty at Victoria University in Wellington.
There are no such staggering changes to the ocean surface,” says Renwick, adding that a degree Celsius is already complete, and five is a big thing.
Such a phenomenon is very rare in such a large area, and scientists say it will become more common because of global warming.
Scientists do not know how deep that warm area gets down to the sea, but Renwick estimates it is not more than 20 meters [20 m] because it requires great energy to heat it over several weeks.
Just a few months ago, scientists noticed a similar measure of hot water across Alaska, and it was attributed to the Arctic ice melting.
Such areas of the unusual warming of surface ocean waters have caused marine animals to die, corals and sea algae to break apart in the past, Kosovo Preris broadcasts.
