Rayo Vallecano's president, Raul Martin Presa, condemned the cheers against Albacete player Roman Zozulya, who led to the annulment of the Segunda Division match, and said his club was also a “viktime”.
Sunday's match in Valletas was interrupted at the end of the first part by Judge Jose Antonio Lopez Toca after Zozulya was targeted by local fans during the first 45 minutes.
Zozulya, former Ukrainian player, joined Rayo with loans from Real Batis to 2017, but the transfer did not last long when supporters protested the transfer because of his connections to the right, which the player has strictly denied, conveyed the news.net.
Presa said in quotations posted on Rayo's official Twitter account that the club offered to play the second part without fans, but that was rejected.
The decision has not yet been made by the RFEF, where another 45 minutes left to be held.
