Arberie Nagavci, a member of the leadership of the Vetevendosje Movement, has told Radio Europe's Free of Waiting on its political subject has been that the agreement for the ruling coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo will be reached soon, taking into account that it had declared that for an agreement it should only certified the election results.

“We have expected that the agreement will be reached faster and we are committed to it. But, the LDK, it seems, needed more time, and we believe it will not last longer than December 26th, when even the constitution of the Assembly must be”, Nagavci said.

The Democratic League of Kosovo is insisting that it decide for the president's post, but without giving any concrete name. While the Vetevendosje Movement has initially said that the president should be talked to at the time his mandate expires, as well as has demanded that he know who the LDK proposed for the president's post.

Nagavci stresses that the Vetevendosje Movement cannot pledge something that does not depend entirely on it.

All we can pledge would be that we would have a common commitment to finding a candidate, who is completely consensual. So it's going to be our commitment, to get to that stage together with the governing partner. But, we can't make a commitment today to a case that, the hand in our heart doesn't entirely depend on us, because we all know we have to be 80 deputies present in the Assembly and that we and LDK don't make 80 deputies”, Nagavci said.

On December 26th, the Kosovo Assembly Constituent hearing is expected to be held. The Democratic League of Kosovo and Vetevendosje have not officially announced any meetings within two days. LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa, today in his 30th anniversary of the founding of this party, had some messages for Vetevendosje.
