LDK-VVV clashes continue for presidential position

The Vetevendosje movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo are not finding common language about the separation of the president's position, which risks the country going to new elections. Until Vetevendosje Movement officials warn that in the event of the failure to reach the coalition agreement, Kosovo could go to new elections, in the LDK it is considered unacceptable to condition the VV's position not to belong to the party, which is second in the October 6th national elections.
It simultaneously called on the Vetevendosje Movement to stop the special war, as it put it, and if it really wants to achieve the ruling coalition with the LDK, before any kind of opportunity for co-operation with regard to the formation of the new government is marred.
“The LDK can't condition no one to propose the president. The propaganda and special war must stop Vetevendosje if it has really decided to build a coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo. The LDK is working on building a government that will provide solutions to any citizens' problems. Not the government that falls in a year. A government that doesn't complete the mandate. We leave the declarations and negotiate before any bridge of cooperation breaks down. Vetevendosje's condition that we do not accept the president from the LDK is unacceptable. Such conditions cannot decide parties that have won 51 percent of the vote”, writes Bajrami on Facebook.
And we can talk about the president, and we are even interested in working seriously in finding a worthy, consensual candidate or candidate that represents the unity of the people as the constitution requires. So once we have fully agreed on government, we can seriously engage in the position of first or first of the country. With understanding, with seriousness and love for the country, otherwise we must return once again to sovereign”, she writes on Facebook.
The VVA deputy Arber Rexhaj has given such an opinion.
Arber Rexaj says the LDK is still not convinced that the VV has won the 6 October elections. According to him, the LDK is not behaving like the second party.
“The LDK has come in second. She's not acting like one. Believe the VV has won the election!
In these elections citizens have voted for the country's prime minister, not the president. On the basis of that, the LDK must reflect in front of its voters, not being balanced into insurmountable positions”, Rexaj says.
Vetevendosje and LDK have not yet reached agreement on co-government.
The two leaders of these political subjects, Albin Kurti and Isa Mustafa, have held several meetings, but without results.
Meanwhile, MP Arber Rexaj says the country needs an unconditionally built government. We need the will of the citizens not to differ, but that will and trust to protect and institutionalize at all costs. We need an unconditional government, barricaded, and this is due to mutual confidence”, Rexaj says.
Otherwise, during yesterday, two leaders have met Isa Mustafa and Albin Kurti, who are aiming to make the ruling coalition, but this meeting has ended without any agreement. /Periscopi/
