Kosovo's first four ladies

Since the post-war Kosovo has had five presidents. First Ibrahim Rugova, then Fatmir Sejdiu, Ahifete Jahjaga, for a few hours Behgjet Pacolli and finally incumbent President Hashim Thaci. Ibrahim Rugova is remembered as Kosovo's first president and architect of Kosovo's state independence. He was married to Fana Rugova, with whom he has two boys thinking and Uka and a Teuta girl.

As after the death of the historic President, Fatmir Sejdiu came to the head of state. Sejdiu is married to Nezafete Hoxha, who was Kosovo's First Lady from 2010 to 2010.

After Nezafete Hoxha-jejdiu, in 2011 the First Lady of Kosovo for 1 month and 8 days was Masha Pacolli, the Russian national wife of Behgjet Pacolli.

Following Pacolli's brief term at the head of the state came Ahifete Jahjaga, who is the only president of Kosovo who remained in full mandate in the post.
As after Ahifete Jahjaga came President Hashim Thaci, who currently stands in the post. He's married to the Thaci Lumniye with whom they have a son, Andrew.
Lumnije Gerjaliu-Thaci is the First Lady of the Republic of Kosovo. She comes from the city of Vushtria.
