Under the KLA war veterans' law, Veteran Day is marked on December 30th to commemorate the sacrifice, commitment and contribution of veterans to bringing freedom and independence to the people of Kosovo.
On December 30th 1991 began confronting the Jashari family with Serb military forces in Prekaz, where the KLA's military resistance began.
On this day's occasion, organisations released from the KLA war will pay their respects at the memorial complex in Prekaz, and there will be a festive organisation in the evening hours. /
