After losing control, the plane hit a two-story building, the Civil Aviation Commission announced in Kazakh. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
“Aeroplane went to the left side, then to the right, then began to tremble, while the pilots tried to freeze it higher”, said businessman Aslan Nazaraliev, who survived this accident.
Another survivor said she heard terrible noises before the plane began to lose control of “Aeroplane flew with a sigh. Everything was like in movies, people were screaming and crying”, she said.
Authorities initially said 15 people have died, but later the figure was changed to 12, while 49 others have been sent to the hospital. Some of the injured are in serious condition.
