Iran has warned the US of the consequences after Washington conducted air strikes against a group of Iranian-backed militants in Iraq.
“The US has opened its support for terrorism and showed its neglect to the countries' national independence and sovereignty,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mosavi, CNN writes.
“America must accept responsibility for the consequences of illegal attacks”, Mosavi added further.
