Incomes from the diaspora increase by 6.3%

553.3m euros by August 2019, or 6.3 per cent more compared to the same period in 2018, the CEC's latest report said.
The remittances that are accepted in Kosovo mainly come from Germany and Switzerland, from which 41.3 per cent of the total remittances are sent, respectively.
A significant part of the remittances has also been accepted by the United States, or 7.1 per cent of the total remittances accepted in Kosovo.
Under the financial account, IHD's entry into Kosovo reached the value of 199.2m euros, marking an increase of 22.9 per cent compared to the same period in 2018”, the CEC reported.
Under the IHD structure, according to the CEC, capital and investment fund in shares amounted to 161.0m euros and mark growth of 2.1 per cent, while IHHDs in the form of debt instruments marked the value of 38.2m euros (4.4m euros in the same period in 2018).
