Import prices fall in third quarter 2019

Larger price reductions according to sectors were in the skin and its articles (-10.1 %); mineral products (-4.0%); textile and its articles (-3.4%); plastic, rubber and their articles (-2.0%); optical instruments, photography, measurements, Manicial and musical, and clock mechanisms (-2.0%), etc.
The decline was largely neutralised by the rise of prices in plant products (2.9%); livestock and their products (0.5%); shoes (0.4%); and stone, mortar, ceramic and glass products (0.1%).
Meanwhile, compared to TM2 2018 import prices rose to an average of 2.1%. Larger establishments according to sectors were in: plant products (22.4%); livestock and their products (11.5%); skin and its products (11.1%); mineral products (8.3%); various products produced (6.7%), etc.
The upgrade was neutralised by the drop in prices of optical instruments, photographs, measurements, maniccinal and music, as well as clock mechanisms (-16.4%); textile and its articles (12.4%); machine equipment and electrical equipment (-2.4%); nutrients (-1.8%); prepared food items, drinks and tobacco (-01%); and wood and its (-011%).
