After reporting by the FSSHK Central Council, the general strike held on December 13th on all primary, secondary and digestive health institutions has been successfully and without any value worthy of mention, except in some cases which have been made public during the strike day.
Members of the Steering Council also discussed further steps following the strike, where they unanimously decided to suspend the strike until the Constitutional Court's final decision on the Law of the Salaries is reached.
Also, members of the Steering Council made the decision to take all legal steps in accordance with the country's positive legislation, as well as by consulting local and international instances in order to speed up the decision within the Constitutional Court's constitutional deadline regarding the Law of Salaries.
“We seek understanding of all health workers indiscriminately, complete unity, to avoid political manipulations during this process by reflecting that we protect the institutional principle of decisions and that the FSSHK in any circumstance does not interfere with the country's Constitutional Court or its decisions, but we strongly believe that by looking at the established circumstances it will make decisions in favour of dissatisfied employees” respectively, it is said in the FSF communique.
They've thanked the people for respecting the strike, they've once thought the battle might be lost, but not even the war.
