While the officials of this summit, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Northern Macedonia's Zoran Zaev, as well as Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, have met today and yesterday in Tirana, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina have ignored this meeting, while Montenegro, as it has been warned, will now join. European diplomacy chief Josep Borell will not participate in the Western Balkan Summit, which is still being held in Tirana, Albania, and in which the idea of creating a Balkan Mini Schengen is being experienced today, writes the Voice newspaper.
Although this initiative has been principledly rejected by Kosovo authorities, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, the only Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, North Macedonia's Zoran Zaev, as well as Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq are participating. Meanwhile, Borelli's non-participation at the Tirana summit, on December 21st and 22nd, has been commented by Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, who has said he hopes that, apart from Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia, this initiative will expand.
