This association to collect the funds has organised the “Dear Albania” show, which was co-sponsored by Eliza Dushku and her brother, Nate Dushku.
People gathered at Harvard University for a charity night. After the show, the audience had the opportunity to discuss the documentary with Eliza and Night and learn about their trip to Albania.
“In total, the organisation has raised $19174. Prior to the event, the organization raised $144 on a GoFundM page. In addition to gifts, Eliza Dushk and her husband, Peter Palandjian, doubled every donation that raised the sum to $830. Peter Palandjian is a graduate of Harvard University and is director of Interctinent Real Estate Corporation”, the association says.
All donations will go to the families and organisations affected in Albania. We are conducting discussions with non-profit organisations and government funds. We'll send out the donations soon and we'll call you”.
The Association of Albanian Students at Harvard, founded in 2017 by Danny Hoxha, is an organisation uniting students of Albanian origin and students interested in Albanian culture, history and affairs.
