This evening, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci told businesses and companies that the state of Kosovo is proud of them and will always support and that they will have the continued support of the country's state and institutions.

And the chairman of the Kosovo Chamber of Economics, Berat Rukiqi, said that continuing political crises -- failure to establish a stable governance -- are unhealthy for business.
Rukiqi stressed that Kosovo's natural businesses are demanding and persistent, but very powerful when together. He called for such united in Ode to be in the future.

The leaders we have chosen are not responsible, the continuing political crises, the failure to create a stable government, are unhealthy for business... Rukiqi said Kosovo's Economic Oda is growing year-on-year and that tonight there are twice as many participants as compared to last year. According to him, this points to an extraordinary performance of business work.
This evening, the Kosovo Economic Oda has shared gratitude to the Kosovo Inovative Centre and the Gastronomous Association. Among those who were selected in 2019 are Kosovo Telecom, Bank Procredit, Devul corporations, NLB Bank, Raifeisen Bank and so on.
While some of those who were elected employees of the year were Stone Castle, Shell Kosova, Abi Company, Dukagjini, the American Hospital in Kosovo, Besa Security, Kawa Group, Memory, American Hospital Kosova, Bavaria, and others.
The owner of Stone Castel, the company that received the “year's employee” award, Avdi Gecaj, told of the company's capacity and women's employment in it.
It's a pleasure to appreciate the Oda Economics. We've been following a European Commission project this year, where we've hired over 50 women. We have increased production and normally when production grows, the number of workers increases... We operate at 1/3 of our capacity. When we reach 100% the company's functionality capacity, I believe we will triple the number of employees”, Gecaj said.
He claimed that this award is the motive for moving forward, adding that they will not stop working. Gecaj indicated that the Stone Castel company has 200 full-time employees.
And among the exporters of 2019 was chosen Frutex, Fluid, Fruti, Kosovo Metalic Industry and others.
The gaula organised by the Kosovo Economic Oda has humanitarian character and is dedicated to the House of Elders.
