This rule, published Friday by the Chinese Cyberspace Administration (CAC), comes into force on 1 January 2020. Any violation will be considered a criminal act”, CAC stressed.
The new rule stipulates that suppliers as well as video and audio utility users are not authorized to use technologies like Deep Learning (“deep lesson”) or virtual reality to create, distribute and publish false information.
