A bride from Cranfield was saved by police as her car broke down on the road to Church.
Jenna Bassam said that the car left her and her parents in the middle of the street and started walking until they saw some policemen. She adds that her parents had been able to find a Jaguar to transport her to the wedding ceremony as a surprise present.
It was rain and very cold, so I panicked. My father was with me and he was telling me don't worry, this is part of our” adventure.
Her future husband was expecting her in the Church and was very concerned.
Special Inspector Ash Harris of the Bedfordshire Police showed that he and the other officers had just left their shift and were leaving home, but when they saw the bride in that condition, they did not think twice and help and take the bride to her future husband, who was looking forward to her.
Everybody connects police to apprehending criminals, but the main thing is to make a difference in our community”, Special Inspector Ash Harris said.
