At 52, the number of casualties from the earthquake goes to 52

The last quake in Durres took the lives of several families, including the most unfortunate family who lived in the area of the former nation.

Only one of the Lala family members managed to get out alive, and he was 17-year-old Ramm Lala.

Albanian media report that another member of the Lala family has passed away, and is referring to 64-year-old Ficerete Lala.

She has passed away at the funeral meal of eight members of her family because she has not coped with the great pain.

Sahiddija, Amelia, Grisilda, Dionysius, Dionysis, Emilia, Marjeta and Ilir Lala were the eight remaining victims of the earthquake.

With Ficerete Lala's death, the number of victims from the 6.4-strong earthquake that had hit Albania on the morning of November 26th goes to 52.

And hundreds of people have been injured by this earthquake and have evacuated thousands of their homes.
