Their march stopped between their city and Tirana's boulevard.

Their ranks had been added minutes by minute and the crowd had reached up to 1,000 people.

Despite the appearance of police forces, the students did not stop, causing the Student Movement in the coming days to increase.

The next day on December 9th, students confirmed the demands of the then president, Ramiz Ali, where they sought general lines of political pluralism, freedom of speech and accelerated democratic reforms.

The protests would continue for the next two days until December 11th evening, when political pluralism, which they announced immediately after the return of that meeting, was confirmed at the meeting with Ramzi Alija, including the Democratic Party's organisation.

The Student Movement would continue with organisation and protests, even on the first day of 1991 until the days of the hunger strike, peaked at noon on February 20, 1991, when the Students backed by teachers and many citizens of Tirana, landed in “Square. Skenderbej”, eventually bringing down the communist system.
