At least 23 people have died and dozens more have been injured following the devastating earthquake that struck Albania on Tuesday.
Full announcement from the Ulcinj Community:
The inhabitants of Ulcinj are in deep sorrow following the consequences of the devastating earthquake in Albania, in the ancient city of Durres, following the loss of lives and hundreds of wounded people. In these difficult moments we're right next to you, we're right next to our brother-in-law for decades living in the city of Durres. Ulcincini and the locals who themselves have experienced the consequences of the 79 disaster earthquake are in these cases next to those who have lost their relatives. We pray for those who are still under the fall to come out alive. The municipality of Ulcinj shares a total of 10 thousand euros for the affected families. And we call our brothers and sisters in the diaspora to help and be close to their brothers.
