The “format must be detected after providing incorrect information. He invented the event,”, Trump told reporters at the White House.
An investigation into Trump's withdrawal has started 24 September in the Lower Chamber of Congress following a report by an informant saying Trump used his position to seek the involvement of a foreign state to intervene in the 2020 presidential elections.
The report was cleared of confidential signs and issued by the Intelligence Committee after weeks of controversy, which helped Congress Speaker Nancy Pelosi launch an official investigation into whether the republican president should withdraw.
An informant claims Trump had asked Ukraine's President Volodymir Zelensky in a telephone interview to investigate Presidential Anti-Candidate Joseph Biden's son, just days after the 400m-euro military aid to Ukraine was frozen.
Informant Mark Zaid's lawyer told the BBC that his client was willing to reply in writing to Republican questions in the House of Representatives, but that he would not answer questions just about his identity.
