Thousands of Victims in Wild Traffic

Only this year in traffic accidents have 99 people lost their lives. It is estimated that within a year in communications over 100 people lost their lives, while in the first quarter of this year, 22m euros in damages were paid to insurance companies, writes the newspaper “Zri” today.

A person has found death yesterday in a traffic accident at the Pristina magistrate's Podujevo, in the village of Luluhan respectively. Two more people remained in the accident.

According to Kosovo Police data, presented yesterday on the International Day without Victims in Traffic, 99 people have suffered in fatal accidents this year alone. Disturbing is the number of victims in communications since the war. During these 19 years in Kosovo, a total of 2513 people have lost their lives, as it is estimated that every year more than 100 lives are wiped out in accidents. Alarmed with this situation are insurance companies.
