At the Centre for Counting and Results (QNR) today has completed the recount of over 1,000 and 400 locations.
The results are expected to be released Monday, meanwhile until their certificates should be followed by several procedures.
Political issue acquaintance Artan Murati has shown what will happen after the recount until the steps of forming the VII legislature.
Murati has indicated that if any of the parties are to file complaints, it will be addressed within 24 hours.
Although he says after the recount there will be less opportunity for complaints.
After the recount, the CEC announces final results, which are later certified and thus completed the counting process. Political subjects and candidates may challenge once again, though now after the recount it would be with little possibility of any eventual complaint. After handling potential complaints within 24 hours, the results are certified, officially announced, and thus paves the way for calling the constitutional hearing for the seventh legislature, which should be called 30 days after the certificate of results”, Murati has declared.
We remember that extraordinary elections in Kosovo were held on 6 October.
In these elections, Albin Kurti's Vetevendosje Movement has come first with about 25 per cent of the vote followed by the LDK of Isa Mustaf, leaving behind Kadri Wessel's PDK, which after announcing the results, appeared at a news conference where it also conceded defeat. Haradinaj's AAK in coalition with Shpend Ahmeti ranked fourth in those elections
Fatmir Limaj's Social Democrat Initiative had not passed the election threshold, but, by the recount, which has lasted 12 days and has ended today, officials of this party have claimed they have passed the election threshold for 30 votes.
Meanwhile, before the CEC makes the certificate of election results, it should first receive confirmation from the Election Panel for Ances and Paraseta (PZAP) and the Supreme Court that there is no issue under consideration.
The results after this process will be released on the CEC site.
