But from the Group for Juridical and Political Studies (GSJP), they are seeing this impossible.

Kryeziu's representative, GSJP, says the European Union has so far expressed no changes in position in terms of visa liberalisation.

Kryeziu says a lack of interest in EU institutions in such a decision is emerging.

“According to any assessment criteria and any reading of political developments within the EU, the likelihood that such a decision will be made within this year is almost impossible. It is noted that there is a serious lack of mood for such a decision, as well as the fact that the EU and its institutions are already in the final phase of consolidating these institutions after elections within the EU. With full conviction I say that such a decision is not expected to occur within this year, we expect what developments will be in the beginning of next year”, Kryeziu said.

Kryeziu said that despite the positive assessment regarding fighting corruption and organised crime, this phenomenon is not the process you must meet and not be revised.

As he says, fighting corruption and organised crime is responsibility and should become a more serious fight.

There is a European Commission report that has positively assessed this criterion. In the case, it has also provided a positive recommendation for visa liberalisation, which is then voted on by the European Parliament. He's stuck unfortunately in the last instance of the Council of Ministers. An effort has been made to make a more serious fight against high-level corruption and organised crime. The fight is not that you once met and then there is no need to be revised. Fighting corruption is a responsibility every government must maintain and this fight must maintain after a more serious fight is launched”, he told EO.

He also sent a message to the new government to maintain this positive assessment, as according to him this criterion will contribute to the positive assessment of the EU.

The new government must have it clear that despite the European Commission report that provides positive assessment, we must remember that the criterion must be maintained in order to maintain even this positive assessment. This criterion had to be done early and maintained. But it is the full responsibility of the future government to consider the responsibility of fighting harder. We have cases which are known as cases targeted to fight corruption to the state leader, and any progress is welcome and will contribute to the most positive assessment by the EU”, Kryeziu has said.
