Pompeii stressed that China is a challenge for American foreign policy, the US has never faced a country as well known as China and an economy that is so connected with the American economy.
He also predicted that NATO would continue to flourish despite Macron's comments, because its key members understand major issues going beyond being temporary.
“Alance has a long history of contentious and unclear partners, so we should not think that the moment is new or fresh”, he added.
