The operator, which will run the work of this project, has been selected since June of this year, but in terms of this project, four months of municipalities have accepted complaints from other operators, which is making it difficult to start the works.
Since this project is not expected to start construction even this year, part of the means intended for it to reach the value of 382 thousand euros, planned for this two-year project (24 months), have been relocation to other infrastructure projects in 2019.
Concern about not carrying out this project so far from the municipality has voiced Vetevendosje Assignation in the Podujevo municipality, Fitim Mucholi, who called “the responsibility of the municipality” this failure.

According to Mucholl, only 2m and 961 thousand euros were spent from 6m 701 thousand euros were planned by the municipality budget.
And in an answer to Periscope, Podujevo municipality media official Nazmi Elesi said the blame for not starting the works of this project is not I Komuna, as they are waiting for the Ankes review by the public prosecutorial panel.
“Comuna has declared the winner the cheapest and most responsible operator, which has competed in this tender. Since then, however, there have been complaints from other operators, even more expensive, and these complaints have been examined by the Public Procureing Panel. The municipality is awaiting the Public Procubing Organisation's decision, and as soon as this Communist decision comes, it will invite the Economic Operator (the winning tender) to start work”, says Elez's response to Periscope.
According to him, this is also why the municipality has not yet been able to start working on this project.
Since these procedures have dragged on for four months without the Communist's guilt, this has also delayed the starting deadline. Therefore, some of the vehicles, worth 382 thousand euros, planned for this two-year project (24 months), have been relocationd to other infrastructure projects in 2019.
