Nikolin Jaka in an interview for Kosova Prees, says it is extremely important to be in sync with the Berlin process, which as an agenda is the integration of the Western Balkan region within its economy in order to perform properly in the European economy.
We need a good co-ordination of all regional policy, and in particular in the concrete case of Kosovo and Albania, Macedonia and all states which have the numerous presence of Albanians within their states. But what remains to be seen very carefully is the Albania-Kosovo relationship, we continue to have unwarranted barriers between our businesses”, he said.
He added that they are awaiting the formation of the new government of Kosovo in order to hand it over to governments, on both sides of the border, the agenda, which represents concrete conditions involving the removal of barriers.
The plan is drafted by the national economic forum, which includes Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia, and contains 20 points for removing barriers between the three states.
“We have a forum, which is the national economic forum which includes Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo, and we have an agenda which within December we are waiting for the formation of the Government of Kosovo to put governments on the table and there will be concrete conditions, and very soon there will be a response of the Albanian nationwide enterprise... The conditions are: The removal of all Tatar and non-tariff barriers is a package worked by Albania's co-ordinators, which is the Chamber of Commerce and District Industry in Tirana, the Kosovo Economic Oda, and the Club of Producers, and the Chamber of Economics of northwest Macedonia. It is a package of about 20 points for the removal of barriers and barriers that emerge between Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia”, he says.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Tirana says they should see the will of politicians, whether they want to lift economic borders between Albania and Kosovo, or just hold countless meetings.
