The mysterious murder of Elvis Pista: Five years of investigation, no evidence

It was night between June 14th and June 15th 2014 when the PDK MP candidate Elvis Pista was shot to death with firearms. On the critical night, Pista would go out with his friends (his wife, his friend, and his companion's wife), from a party held at a place called “Jaha Petrol”, from where he was later shot by fire from about seven meters away, writes the news.net.

On the critical day, those with him would be given the impression that Elvis Pista was fired, while, according to the police's criminal warning, they had initially thought the shots were coming from lighting fireworks, but that they were not fireworks. These were four shots of a 7.65 mm calibre gun believed to have also had deafening noise. These shots would be fatal for Elvis Pist who passed away in the early hours of June 15, 2014.

More than five years of investigation, no evidence for the dawn of the case

By 2016, some 94 witnesses had been interviewed on the occasion, but without results.

In the case, the Gjakova Founding Prosecutor has spoken. In an answer to the news.net, this prosecutor admits that the possible execution of the murder has not been found.

“In the investigations conducted so far, it has not yet been found to find the possible perpetrators or perpetrators of the” assassination, the Gjakova Foundation Prosecutor says.

On the other hand, from the prosecution say that so far, it has not been managed to secure A THROUGHOUT a new test of the white light as the investigation continues.

According to Arian Koci, a lawyer committed to conveying the Elvis case, the long time spent without any conclusions in the investigation will be a major obstacle to the discovery and whiteening of the murder.

He says he's been waiting for a call from the Prosecutor's Office for new information years, but so far he hasn't had any contact.

I and the family we've been waiting for a few years for some contact from the investigator, but just correct it so far we don't. I wasn't contacted, even though we're waiting for new event information”, the lawyer explains.

Confession and family call to prosecution and state

Even more painful is the confession of Elvis Pista's family, when five and a half years have passed since the murder.

She says she's asked that the case be passed to the Special Prosecution, but that they are not welcomed for this request.

Hidija Pista says her daughter, Beatrice, has had an accident and that she has not been able to submit her written request to the prosecutor, while saying random investigators have changed the sector.

The girl had an accident and was not written down. Meanwhile, there is not even one movement or information for random progress by investigators in the case of serious crimes. We've been contacting major crime investigators, while they've unfortunately been positioned, some have gone into economic crimes and some into war crimes. And two years from the new investigators, there's not a single call: ”, goes on to tell Elvis's mother, Hidiya.

Elvis's mother throws her finger on state structures and people from justice, charging that they are trying to stop making the case.

She says even the lawyer committed by the family, Arian Koci, is not allowed to have space and access in case.

“Elvis on the 15th day of 2020 takes six years to kill. It's pretty clear that someone or some are stopping this case, starting with the Gjakova prosecution. On the other hand, we have hired the family lawyer, Arian Koci, to forward the case's progress on serious crimes, but even the lawyer has given him no room to have access to”, he says.

Hidija also mentions names from the justice ministry, from which he says he has sought help but besides professional orientation, says he has received another answer.
