Lezha too seeks the announcement of a state of emergency

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama declared the state of emergency for the city of Durres, Tirana and Laci.

There are also some cities like Lezha that have suffered severe earthquake damage.

Many residents are homeless and staying in tents.

Lezha's Ora News correspondent Elvis Hila said the state of emergency was required.

But at the government meeting this morning, the state of emergency was declared only for Lacey.

While only in Kurbin are 500 buildings damaged.

Some residents of the city of Leja reportedly refuse to leave their homes in danger of collapse because they say they have nowhere to go and fear that they will steal personal possessions.

And another group of residents have taken refuge in a resort in Stryen, not spending the night in tents.

There are 3 total casualties in Lezha. In hospitals, however, the situation seems quiet. The injured have received hospital services and have then left.
