A powerful 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Durres about 4 am. The quake caused major material damage and so far 21 victims have lost their lives until hundreds more are injured.
Among the dead are two young (brothers) from Kosovo's Gjilan.
Also during the day, Albania has again been hit by another magnitude earthquake of 4.0.
Over the last 16 hours, Albania has been hit by 26 earthquakes.
