The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms opposes increased vehicle insurance tax from insurance companies and makes the Central Bank chief in charge of this, which, instead of playing the role of regulator of these companies, is becoming part of the active extortion of the Kosovo citizens' budget.
In many parts of the world if you have two cars and you don't use them every day, with a pair of signs you can drive the cars as necessary, from one car to another”, it says in a Council response.
KMDLNj thinks that exactly lowering the tariff prices for insurance and vehicle registration may have a big impact on reducing the number of 100 thousand undocumented and unregistered cars.
The warned set-up of tariffs by insurance companies, with BQC's discriminatory consent, will only increase the number of 100 thousand undocumented and unregistered vehicles”, says KMDLNJ.
So in this regard the KMDLNJ invites citizens to protest this decision and protect their rights.
The CEC also invites the State Prosecutor to make investigations into “of a completely nontransparent decision that charges the citizen's budget, as well as impoverished”.
The KMDLNj expects and requires that the Competition Authority be more determined in response to this unfair and discriminated against. /Kosovo pres/
