The investigation board, set up in August by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, is investigating humanitarian countries in northwest Syria that were destroyed or damaged as a result of military operations since September last year.
A spokesman for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said that at least 61 hospitals have been hit since April. But an internal document, seen by the DPA, ranks only seven countries in which the investigation is concentrated, including a school, a refugee camp and hospitals.
According to a report in the newspaper “New The York Times”, diplomats say Russia was pressuring Guterres not to publish the findings of the investigation. / A T S/
