The girl from Drenas wants an explanation from the DA: Why were three others accused of my case?

The Basic Prosecutor in Pristina, the Department for Mitur, has on Wednesday filed charges against six defendants over the sexual abuse of minors by Drenas, the case in 2016. In this regard, Periscop has contacted the victim and her lawyer, where she asks the Prosecution to explain why they have even entered the list [...]

The prosecution has shown that the defendants committed criminal acts of sexual abuse, abuse of office, authority or profession, instigating sexual acts with false promises of marriage, insinuating unfair pregnancy and intimidation during criminal procedure.

The minor from Drenas in a statement about Periscope has criticised the prosecution for the indictment he has issued to defendants with initials (F.C., E.R., H.H.), saying these three have not abused him sexually.

She has said that this will be explained and that the three people in question were not supposed to engage in this crime, only because they wrote about the case.

“The prosecution is wrong because the (F.C E. R H.H) absolutely don't have to act any more, they already fucked up. I finished high school and didn't go any further. No, I haven't had contact with them. I have no absolute curiosity with them, and the prosecution should be well informed of what deeds they have to do, not write it down to say sexual misuse. Except because they wrote these three for this they've been introduced, I can't stop them. Even when the trial starts, it's true they don't charge with this”, the girl from Drenas told Periscope.

On the other hand, her lawyer, Mentor Neziri for Periscope, has indicated that the establishment of the indictment against six persons has been understood through the media.

According to him, the prosecution invited them on Monday to get the file, and they have no more information.

Whatever we're informed of, we're from the media, I still haven't taken the charge, the prosecution informed us that on Monday we should go get the file, I pretty much know who the indictment was filed against, but without being official I can't speak, we're waiting on Monday to go”, attorney Neziri said.

The scandalous case had begun when nine months earlier, in Drenas, a 16-year-old had gone to the police to denounce her professor with claims that he had sexually abused her.

Her entire story had begun on September 14, 2016, when this 16-year-old had sought help at the police station presenting the case.

As she had confessed, upon completing the statement, the detective-cop with the initial V.V.s had asked the minors to strip it with the claim that images like forensic expertise were needed.

The minor had shown that detective V.V., under threat and blackmail, had forced him to have sexual relations with her. After sexual exploitation for more than a year, the girl was pregnant. The investigator, had forced the girl to abort at the gynecologist's clinic, Fehmi Ahmeti in Pristina. As that abortion had shown, on January 15, 2019, at 16 and 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, the case was disclosed by the then juvenile lawyer, Gazmend Halilaj, who had denounced the case to the police.

The case deepened even more when attorney Gazmend Halilaj himself became involved as suspect in the case of sexual abuse of minors. These charges were denied by Halilaj, but yet he was arrested by Kosovo Police for ““the misuse of official task”- Article 422, <x3 misfits by misusing official position or profession”- Article 239 and criminal act “intimidation during criminal procedure” from Article 395 of the Kosovo Criminal Code. At the prosecution's request, Halilaj had been placed in domestic prison, while later had been forced out in court appearance.

The case is continuing to be handled by justice organs.
