Ghana gives the ridiculous reasons why it recognised Kosovo: We rushed, we stepped on 1244.

The Republic of Ghana has officially acknowledged the independence of the Republic of Kosovo, which was declared on February 17th 2008. The Serbian minister, Ivica Dacic, has made this known, saying this is the 16th state to undermine Kosovo. Kosovo analysts a few years ago wondering if Kosovo was endangered by [...]
Kosovar analysts a few years ago questioned whether Kosovo was endangered by the expectations that could come, had been ridiculed by saying that this concept was not possible and applicable.
However, Serbia continued with its aggressive campaign and has already managed to bring about the withdrawal of 16 of the recognition of Kosovo's independence.
The last country that did this is from the African continent and is called Republic of Ghana, the Periscope broadcast.
In the announcement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of this country, recognition of Kosovo was reportedly a hasty decision that had not taken into account certain issues.
“The notion [of the Republic of Kosovo] is at odds with Helsinki's Final Act, and with the most immediate countering UN Security Council Resolution 1244 [1999].” is written in the statement.

The decision to recognise Kosovo [as an independent state] turned out to be hasty under paragraph 10 of Security Council Resolution 1244 authorising Secretary General “to establish a civilian presence in Kosovo in order to guarantee the interim administration for Kosovo under which Kosovo citizens can be substantial autonomy within the Federation Republic of Yugoslavia...”
Further, the Ghanaian government writes that it was inspired by its peace and harmony efforts to make the decision for recognition at that meal.
Likewise, they say the dialogue process should be considered in Brussels between Kosovo and Serbia.
This is a highly ridiculous reasoning that actually covers the real reasons that are the decline of American influence in the world and the constant pressure of Russia and Serbia. /Periscope
