German Ambassador for Peter Bayer's Choice: He recognises Kosovo well

Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Christian Heldt, has happily welcomed the election of German diplomat Peter Beyer, as a rapporteur for Kosovo to the Council of Europe.

Heldt through Twitter has named good news Bayer's choice in this assignment.

This is really great news. Congratulations and congratulations on Peter Beyer for this important task. He recognises Kosovo and the region well. All the best”, Ambassador Heldt wrote.

German MP from Chancellor Angela Merkel's party, The CDU, today, has been put in charge of rapporteurs for Kosovo at the Council of Europe, defeating in this former Russian hospital race, Alexander Kondavire.

Bayer's elections in the post have even welcomed political leaders in Kosovo.
