The fall of the Berlin Wall, events that changed the courses of history

* The fall of the Berlin Wall 30 years ago, along with the German union, gave way to some of the most important historical developments in the past century - the fall of the blockade, the breakup of the Soviet Union, and the collapse of the Communist system. The event also affected the initial processes of the breakup of Yugoslavia, with Kosovo scavenging from Belgrade's rule to end up as an independent state.

Of course, in these developments, the fall of the Berlin Wall prompted Kosovo Albanians and the former Yugoslavia in two directions:

a) to destroy the Communist League monopoly and

B) to be released from Serbian rerun.

This was reflected in the rapid and comprehensive commitment of Kosovo's political elite, under the direction of the Kosovo Writers' League to establish the Democratic League of Kosovo, the first Western-spirited political party, which soon turned into a national movement, which took over these historic processes:

a) the collapse of the Communist League structure and

B) secession from Serbia (with the Constitutional Declaration of July 2nd 1990 and the Kacanik Assembly on September 7th 1990. )

On this road, Kosovo intellectuals, lined up on the historical right, received direct US and German assistance as well as their full support.
