As for the residents of Bubqi, Rama said they will not leave, but another category's umbrella will be set up, as residents in the area are tied to livestock and cannot abandon areas.
“In the Durres district are 1260 accommodated persons, of whom so far are 625 in hotels and 360 in school gyms. The others are in tents or relatives. In Thumana there are about 500 people accommodated in tents, for them transportation has started from camps to hotels in Schengen”, he said.
After all, in Tirana District 3480 people are homeless, while in Berat 250 people.
In Durres, 701 damaged buildings, 12 destroyed, 176 buildings damaged.
In Tirana residences 15 destroyed, 239 damaged, 8 buildings are out of use.
Rama said this is the initial balance, while stressing that today the first teams of technical inspectors come to do a damage analysis along with Albanian experts.
As for the contributions Rama said the amount collected is very encouraging, but because banks are closed, it cannot be said as long as the balance is full.
According to him, so far it amounts to a total of 5m euros and $1.5m.
