Early discovery of breast cancer, QKMF in Pristina is done with digital mammography

From today, at the Main Centre of Family Medicine has been functional and released in service, digital mammmography.

So has Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti made it known.

“Mamography is an appropriate method for early discovery of breast cancer. One mammography also shows the smallest tumors long before they are sensitive to touch or are recognized by other symptoms. On average, 1 out of 8 women is diagnosed during a lifetime of breast cancer. Over 50 years of age, cases are more frequent, so the best defense is early display” has written Ahmeti on Facebook.

Ahmeti has invited all women and girls to visit the Main Centre of Family Medicine for routine checkups and to be better informed of the disease, and the importance of its early discovery. /Periscopi/
