It's hard for me to find words about the pain I feel in my parents and relatives who have lost loved ones.
But I am just as moved by the courage and solidarity of people, who, despite the shock, find strength to help, to be near fellow citizens and families in disaster.
Recognition and total support for every citizen, doctor, nurse, police officer, emergency and armed forces personnel who, despite conditions and severe circumstances, are sacrificing to be hit by tragedy.
From Durres, I repeat the call to the government not to be delayed any moment with the announcement of a state of emergency and to support emergency operations with adequate materials.
Brothers and sisters, let us do all we can to help you and find yourself near every fellow citizen who has lost loved ones, those who are still in ruins, in hopes and prayers for their lives, for those who are hurt, for those who are hurt by this calamity.
Everybody on foot, let's give each other a hand and a helping hand, unconditionally and sparingly. United as a large family, we will face this calamity.
God bless you and your families!
