Associations in diaspora unification continues

MDIS has continued meetings aimed at unifying cultural associations operating in Switzerland. To that end, on Thursday in Zurich, representatives of MDIS have held a meeting with most of the cultural associations operating in the Cyril Canton. The director of the Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports in MDIS, Malke Hashani, has said that the aim of the Diaspora Ministry is to unify cultural associations for special organisations, creating a week or months of Albanian culture, where all associations would be displayed with special performances.

Such an idea was well received by representatives of associations who claimed that their joining in activities would be a proper step and a special importance. It was agreed that such meetings will continue until the establishment of a Council or headship of Albanian associations in the Cyril canton. The unification project of Albanian diaspora associations has started in Austria and will continue in other countries as well.
