Apostolova wants to start work on the new Gjakova heater

The head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova, has stayed in Gjakova today, where she has also met with the mayor of this municipality, Ardian Gjini, with whom she has discussed projects that are EU funding. The biosmic heating and the new building of the Komuna Assembly are just two of the major projects [...]
The biodiversity heater and the new Communist Assembly building are just two of the biggest projects the European Union finances in this city, for which Apostolova expressed regret over not starting the works.
In fact, today it was planned to start the heating work, but because of the failure to complete the file by the Ministry of Environment, the work has not yet begun.
Apostolova asked the Environment Ministry to resolve this issue after wanting to see the start of the works and eventually the bloodbathers enjoy a heater that is friendly with the environment.
The biodiversity heater is the first project of its kind in Kosovo, and such projects Apostolova said they are priorities for the European Union.
Apostolova: I want to see the launch of heating work.
“The Gjakova municipality is one of the countries that gets the greatest support in all of Kosovo. However, I have to express my regret that we were not able today to see the start of work on a very important project such as the biosonic heat. We're also waiting for some documents to be finalised and started the works. I have to stress that this bio-fuel project is the first project of this kind in Kosovo, and as you know, biomas is considered friendly to the environment. As you know, the European Union vice president has highlighted and established environmental protection and conservation as one of the main priorities of the European Union. I hope the Ministry of Environment will soon respond to this and close to 40% of Gjakova's citizens have services from this heater”, she said.
While the chairman of the Gjakova municipality, Ardian Gjini, first thanked Apostolova for supporting the projects.
He said the EU remains the largest donor, and its citizens will soon enjoy some very important projects that are being financed by this institution.
By stopping at the heater, Djindin said he hopes the Environment Ministry will resolve these procedural issues and work start as soon as possible.
Ginny: EU-funded projects important to bloodsuckers
The European Union is the greatest donor in all aspects, not only for Gjakova, but I believe for all Kosovo municipalities and for all of Kosovo. The bloodbath will soon enjoy some extremely important projects that are financed for the most part by the European Union, such as the new Communist Assembly building that is continuing to be built and the city's new warming and co-generation, which is expected to begin soon. We have believed that we will begin today, but there have been delays in the Ministry of Environment with some procedural issues I believe and will soon be resolved, however, we are enjoying extraordinary support and these are extremely good projects for all citizens of the Gjakova municipality of”, Djind said.
Otherwise, the heating project is designed to operate in biomass, using agricultural and timber waste as fuel.
This 12m euro project was won by the Gjakova municipality in 2015, but its construction has not begun since.
