Albanian police are confiscating driver's license: Accidents - A Cause of Speed and Madness

Due to the high number of people who lost their lives in a few months, police have increased their controls in this axis, penalising drivers who exceed the allowed speed.

Over the next week, cases of vehicles moving between 158 and 173 km/h have been recorded, and therefore 135 patents have been suspended.

Regarding the high number of accidents, police say cause is speed and madness on the road.

“Girls and boys, speed thirst must be limited to legal provisions, whose violation, apart from the permanent danger for you and others, will penalise you by leaving you without permission for a long time, as police will be there to prevent traffic accidents resulting from speed and madness on the road”, states among other things in the State Police response.
