With the motto “Where the Temple College has organized gear from this facility to the National Theatre, where the lighting of candles is made for these victims.

Genta Xheddin of the Temple College said that even this year on International Day, they are commemorating victims in road traffic, with the aim of supporting the victims' families.

The third Sunday of November marks World Day for the Memorial of Traffic Victims. Which events this year mark under the motto Life is not part of a vehicle connected to the 3rd column of the Global Action Decade. These activities, like the past years, are co-ordinated by the Temple College and the AMRKS, which are also members. Meanwhile, of course, they are supported by institutions which are part of the Kosovar Road Security Forum. Like the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Kosovo Police, O SEU and other members, local and international organisations, Ayc is U NHCR and other organisations”, she said.

Kosovo Police Deputy Colonel Jeton Rexhepi said that during this year there were 97 trafficking victims.

The number of victims this year, even though we might say we have a decline compared to last year. But that figure this year is 10 less, so there are 97 people, and last year it was 107. But we're working together with institutions even with the Ministry of Infrastructure, with other institutions, with the Temple College, AMKRS, the insurance association, companies and all those other acts dealing with the field of road traffic in order for the trend of accidents to always go down”, he said.

Given the large number of trafficking victims, Rexhepi said there are various activities even of institutions in preventing these cases.

Otherwise, this day is marked for the purpose of commemorating millions of people who lose their lives in road traffic accidents worldwide and is aimed at supporting victims' families, reports Kosovas. /S. Pajazit/
