The United States government proudly supports one of Albania's top national security priorities, financing the Cyber Network resolution. This $7 million project supports efforts to increase national security services' capacities and develop strong security and civil institutions. Last year, Albania received $3.5m to produce cyber solutions at the Ministry of Defence. That fund will serve as the basis for successful implementation of this complementary expansion of the cyber programme. This year's project will help Albania's government monitor and protect critical infrastructure of government information, as well as finance an initial assessment of riskability, upgrade systems and equipment, and train new users.
