Nearly 2 thousand Kosovars gave up citizenship for three months

Many sought to give up Kosovo's citizenship, even though some of the demands were accepted and some were not. Within the three-month period, July-September 1 000-726 verdicts were made at the State Division for release from citizenship in Kosovo.
Of these decisions made between 1000 and 705 and 21 other negatives, although between 100,000 and 906 had been made.
Germany is the country with the largest number from which citizens asked to be released from Kosovo citizenship.

A thousand and 686 requests were made by Germany to be released from Kosovo's citizenship, continuing with 162 from Austria, 17 from Slovenia, 12 Croatia, seven Norway and 22 other countries, the Indexline reports.
During the same monthly period at the State Division, 150 decisions have been made for profit of Kosovo's citizenship.
68 of these decisions were positive, 82 negative while the total number of requests was 133.
The four nationalities which were asked most to profit Kosovo citizenship are these: Albanian 133, Turkish 42, Serbian five, Bosnian four, and so on 74.

A total of positive decisions were made for eight Albanians, one Serb and 59 others.
